Ball Door Check for Screen Door - Slam Prevention
Centrifugal force door check designed to stop screen and storm doors from slamming shut. As the door closes, the internal ball mechanism swings outward, creating friction between the door and jamb to control closing speed and eliminate slamming.
Mount this check on the interior side of the door near the top, positioning it approximately 3/4 inches away from the jamb. The simple, friction-based design requires no adjustment and provides reliable performance without hydraulic or spring mechanisms.
