Heavy-duty privacy latch for bedroom, bathroom, and closet lever handles. Larger 2-3/4 inch backset accommodates doors with different mortise depths than standard passage latches. Directional design—latch engages only when pushed down; top and bottom installation orientation is fixed and must be observed during mounting.
